Dear Parents and Students:
As superintendent of the Skyline Schools, I give you my pledge that we will give each student accepted into our school:
• a sound education with strong academics
• with vocational or post secondary skills
We
hire the best and most qualified staff and teachers. We all prescribe
to theme-based, project-based education. Parental support is welcomed
at Skyline. As a parent you need to be involved in your student’s
academics and attendance.
This
year Skyline’s staff and faculty are going to follow President Bush’s
philosophy on Reading. Students that read daily have better test scores
and are academically prepared for college and the work force. We give
each parent the responsibility to have your student read for one hour
every night. As superintendent of schools I am assigning this as your
homework and your student’s homework. We, at Skyline pledge to increase
reading scores by having our students read in every class. We will
conquer the AIM’s and Stanford 9 testing of the State and students will
score high on their SAT testing for college. Please do your part as a
parent. Please take the pledge with us.chute de cheveux We can and will succeed with
your help.
Parents,
your active participation makes the difference. Please observe what
your child wears to school. Be proactive. Assist us with our dress
codes. Support our policy and procedures. Together we will educate and
train your student. Don’t forget your homework!
Sincerely,
Ronda Owens. M.Ed.
